From: gsmith@magi.com (Gord Smith) I would appreciate it very much if you can show me the steps to move around the court quickly, at the moment I am having problem of not getting back fast enough to return a deep and highloft-shot, after returning a drop shot at the net. Thank you. You are asking a very personal, difficult question for me to answer without seeing you play. My best advice is to purchase a good book or manual on badminton and try some of the recommended footwork patterns, and then see which one works best for you. Without seeing you play, it is not possible for me to advise you on the best way to move backwards. Where do you live, and perhaps I will be able to help you at an up-coming tournament? If you are interested in a book, just call the OBA at 416-426-7193 and ask for Tereshka....tell her Gord sent you.
