When:              Sunday 20th to Sunday 27th January 2002, 8 days.

Where:             From Brisbane to North Island, New Zealand (Auckland,

Hamilton & Rotorua).

Cost:                Estimated A$1099 per Adult (12+), $1055 for unders.

Price includes

·         return airfares from Brisbane to New Zealand,

·         all accommodation,

·         all transportation in NZ,

·         most meals,

·         all activities, sight seeing and entries to all as listed in 'Tour

Program', and

·         all badminton play.

·         City Tour of Auckland (City of Sails)

·         Sky Tower - one of tallest in the world, Auckland latest landmark

with extensive views of the city!

·         America's Cup & Maritime Museum

·         Sight seeing Cruise of Auckland Harbour

·         Kelly Tarlton's Antarctic Encounter & Underwater World - Antarctic

landscape & journey below ocean

·         Magical Waiheke Island, golden sand beaches, tour of the island &

optional visit to famous winery

·         Mount Eden - summit of this dormant volcano once home to an

ancient Maori tribe

·         Mission Bay - enjoy a cup of coffee in the most relaxing and

beautiful scenery waterfront of Auckland

·         The famous Sky City Casino with live music, great bars &

restaurants

·         Shopping - Queens Street Mall, Victoria Park market, Parnell

    Rotorua & surrounding area:

·         City Tour - experience the natural smell of sulphur!

·         Waitomo Glowworm Caves - see thousands of tiny glow worm lights up

·         Visit to local Maori Village - see the famous haka dance,

experience Maori culture

·         Visit to the thermal reserve, see roaring geysers, boiling mud,

colourful silica deposits, & steaming pools

·         Polynesian natural thermal spas - most popular and attracts

tourists from all over the world!

·         Visit to Lake Taupo, huka falls, Geothermal power station

·         Badminton friendly matches and play at local clubs

Optional activities:

Crewing on an America's Cup Yacht, Museums, Zoos/Farms, White water rafting,

Shotover Jets, Rainbow Springs, Prawn Farm, Winery Tours, Parasailing,

Gliding, Helicopter flights, Skydiving, Bungy-jumps, Water-skiing, Mountain

biking, 4-wheel bike rides, golf, tennis, horse riding, fishing, swimming,

diving, canoeing and windsurfing.

Please note this is a non profit trip organised by our club. No profit is or

will be added to any expenditure incurred in the entire trip, other than a

$50 administrative/subsidy fee to the club, which is on top of the $1099.
