Swallow Badminton Club

Our club has been playing at the same location (Ottawa Adult High School at 300 Rochester, Ottawa, Ontario) since the mid 70's. The gym has high ceiling and laid with well maintained hardwood flooring. There are four badminton courts in the gym and our club's annually elected executives will ensure every club member to have an enjoyable playing experience with sound and open financial management of the club's affairs.

We are affiliated with the Ottawa and District Badminton Association (ODBA). We emphasize the social aspects of the game.

The majority of our members have been with this club for many years. About half of our members play at intermediate level. Our members know each other on a first-name basis. We emphasize recreational games and our members are glad to share and offer valuable experience and assistance readily.

We use a queuing system to ensure equitable amount of playing time and desirable game level for everyone.

Change room facilities are available to members and guests. We provide plastic shuttlecocks for the games.

Club Tournament will be held during the month of April:

    * Women's Single
    * Women's Double
    * Mixed Double

Club Election will be held in mid-April.
