This year 6 members of the Piner badminton team attended the Junior Nationals competition held at the Orange County Badminton Club. This is the premier junior event in the United States and features the strongest juniors from across the country. 239 juniors attended in age groups ranging from Under 12 to Under 21. Our group brought home one 5th place finish (quite respectable for a national tournament!) and found out first hand the level of play that exists for juniors in the US.
