Kelly's longtime coaching experience includes a nine-year stint as a coach at the United States' top badminton camp, and four years of running her own elite junior development camp. She coached the winning teams at U.S. Olympic Festival - '89 and '90, and is a certified national umpire.
As a badminton competitor, Kelly was ranked in the U.S. top 10 for more than 20 years and won several national titles. She was a member of two Uber Cup squads and manager of the Uber Cup team in 1988. She has captured the doubles title at the prestigious All England Open Championships a total of seven times.
Having earned an M.B.A. at Boston University, Kelly serves as Director of Development at Regis College in Weston, Mass. She was the first woman named to the Executive Committee of the Harvard Community Health Plan, the largest HMO in New England with 1995 revenues of more than $2 billion. She served for seven years in that capacity, and nine years on the Board of Directors.
She also served for four years as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of HCHP Hospital, a small Harvard teaching hospital. Recent accolades for Kelly include being named to the Board of the U.S. Olympic Foundation, USOC Membership and Credentials Committee, as well as the USOC Nominating Committee.
