1997 Collegiate Nationals Badminton Championships
                             April 26 & 27
                    University of California, Davis


Deadline:       Postmarked no later than April 7, 1997.
Eligibility:    Full-time undergraduate students (or first year graduate
                students who have not exceeded the 5 year rule), in good
                academic standing at a 2 or 4 year institution.  All
athletes
                must have the university registrar certify eligibility on
the
                attached form.
Events:         Men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's
doubles,
                mixed doubles, and consolation for first round losers.
Restrictions:   Maximum of 2 entries per school per event.  Each athlete
may
                enter a maximum of 2 events.
Entries:        $20 per person which covers one or two events.  Make
checks
                payable to Davis Badminton Club.  Payment must accompany
entry
                form.
Times:          Each day's competition starts at 8:00AM.  Check web site
for
                individual match times or call or email Ken for starting
times.
Venue:          Recreation Hall, U.C. Davis campus.
Prizes:         Medals will be given to winners, runner-ups, and third
place
                winners.  A team trophy will be given to the school with
the
                most points.
Shuttlecocks:   Free for open draw, $1.00 per birdie for consolation draw.

18 years of age, contact us for parental waiver form.  If you would like
