1997 Spring 
		     SPARTAN TOURNAMENT
    	   (Saturday March 29 and Sunday March 30)

EVENTS: B,C,D flights for all events. Participants may play a maximum of 1
flight per event, max. 3 events. Doubles and mixed teams must play with
the same partners. The tournamnet committee will place the team in the
flight of the highest player. For example, a team composed of a C player
and a D player would have to play in a C flight or above. The committee
holds the right to correct discrepancies occurring during matches.

ENTRY FEES: Entries postmarked before March 10,1997:  $8-1st event
						      $5-per add. event
	    Entries postmarked after MArch 10, 1997:  $10-1st event
						      $6-per add. event
	Mail entries to address on entry form at the bottome or e-mail
entries to (Phuong Mai, E-mail: UDU00604@email.sjsu.edu) Please do not
send cash. Check or money order only.
  
TIMES: Saturday: Singles- 9:00am  ,   Mixed- Approximately 12:00 noon	
       Sunday:   Doubles- 9:00am

       Gym will be open by 8:30 for warm-up.
       NOTE: A strict 15 min. default rule will be enforced.

DEADLINE: All entries must be postmarked by Sat. 3/22/97 or e-mailed by
Monday 3/24/97. All late entries will be charged an additional $4.00 per
person.

AWARDS: Trophies will be awarded to the finalists of "B" events and
winners of "C" & "D" events. There will also be prizes for consolation
winners for all events.

PARKING: Parking is available inthe 7th street garage for $2.00. The
garage is located on the corner of 7th and San Savador Streets. Metered
parking is also available along the campus perimeter.

LOCATION: Spartan Complex Central (SPXC 44A)
	  is in the cicinity of 4th and San Salvador Streets, just
	  northwest of the 7th Street Garage.
