Wine Country Games - 2019
Sonoma County hosts the
Wine
Country Games. Starting in 2014, Badminton is included in these games. While
Badminton is detailed here, see the official site (www.winecountrygames.com)
for signups and details as well as for the many other sports available. For
those interested in other senior badminton tournaments, you may want to check
out the National Senior Games and the Huntsman
World Senior Games .
2019 Badminton
This year Badminton we are back
at Santa Rosa Junior College.
All events are played SATURDAY JUNE 15, 2019.
NOTE: the JC has multiple entrances. You will be using the one at
Mendocino and Pacific, which is directly next to Santa Rosa High School
For those who
would like there is also open play with the Santa Rosa Badminton
Club
multiple times per week. This would be good chance for new partners to
get some court time together.
- Registration is via the web on the
Wine Country Games site.
On the site, proceed to the registration page to see available sports. Note
that the Mixed is separate from the Singles and Doubles. Late entries are
possible via email to
stan@worldbadminton.com, but will be accepted only if draw is not overly
affected.
