The 16^th annual Newark Memorial Frosh/Soph Tournament will be held on Friday March 16^th and Saturday March 17^th. Entrants must be an eligible sophomore or freshman in High School. Players may participate in all three events this year. The mixed doubles events will be held on Friday 16^th while the rest of the events will be held on Saturday March 17th. Every player is guaranteed at least two matches and trophies will be awarded to 1^st thru 3^rd place finishers and consolation winners.

Rules:

1. Championship brackets play best two out of three up to 15. Set to three at 14
2. Consolation brackets play one game to 21 set to three at 20.
3. Players will be given 90 seconds between the first and second game for coaching. Players may not leave the court.
4. Players will be given a 5-minute break between the second and third game.
5. Players will be awarded a 15-minute break between matches.
6. A 5-minute default rule will be enforced as soon as the match is called.

Registration: Entrants must be received by Wednesday March 14^th. There are multiple ways in which players can register.

The 16^th annual Newark Memorial Varsity Tournament will be held on Friday April 13^th and Saturday April 14^th. The Newark Memorial Varsity tournament is a CIF Sanctioned event and has historically been a very competitive tournament featuring players from NCS, CCS and the North Bay Section. Entrants must be an eligible student in High School. Players may participate in all three events this year. The mixed doubles events will be held on Friday April 13^th while the rest of the events will be held on Saturday April 14^th. Every player is guaranteed at least two matches and trophies will be awarded to 1^st thru 3^rd place finishers and consolation winners. This year two tournament MVPs (boy, girl) will be chosen based upon a cascading scoring system given to players who placed in their events. 1^st=11pts, 2^nd=7pts, 3^rd=5pts, 4=3pts, Consolation winners=2pts.
