Kuala Lumpur, May 13: The odds favour European challengers Denmark led by world champion Camilla Martin when they meet Indonesia in a Pink Group Uber Cup tie today.
The match however could be decided in the third singles match between Ninik Masrikah and Metter Pederson or second doubles between Minarti Timur-Resiana Zelin and Majken Vange-Pernnile Harde.
In another Pink Group tie, Japan are poised to make a clean sweep of host Malaysia, who were outclassed 4-1 by the Danes in the first tie.
However, the host team are counting on a win in the second singles through Wong Miew Kheng against Takako Ida and from the second doubles through Sandy Chor-Ang Li Peng.
But the Japanese `cherry blossoms' look the clear favourites.
