1998 K&D Graphics United States Junior National Badminton Championships
SSFBC juniors earned a total of 7 national titles (9 including former members) as well
as 8 other assorted awards and the Ken Davidson award to another former member. In
addition there were two tripple crown winners: Clarice Thenard in the 14 & under and
Raymond Wong in the 16 & under.

Ken Davidson Award Winner
This award is given to the best sports person & role model for future badminton
players. It was awarded to Howard Bach who was a former player who trained through
the South San Francisco badminton program. He was chosen as an Olympic hopeful aand is now
living and training at the Olympic Training Center at Colorado Springs.
