November 7, 1996 (New Shuttlenws) - Indonesian Joko Suprianto leads the
world's badminton men's singles players in the October 29 rankings
published by the International Badminton Federation.
Denmark's Poul-Erik Hoyer-Larsen sits in the second spot and is the top
European in the rankings, just ahead of China's Dong Jiong.
Canadian Iain Sydie is the best of the Pan-Americas at number 38 while
Murray Hocking of Australia leads the Oceania players at number 67. There
are no players from Africa in the top 100.
