by the staff of YANG YANG Badminton Equipment
November 7, 1996 (New Shuttlenws) - Indonesians Trikus Heryanto and
Minarti Timur have taken over the top spot among the world's badminton
mixed doubles players from Park Joo Bong and Ra Kyung Min of Korea
in the October 29 rankings published by the International Badminton
Federation.
Park has retired again after the Olympic competition and the Park and Ra
combination will continue to drop in the standings as their accumulated
points lose their value in the ranking system over time.

Olsen at number 4, while Canadians Daryl Yung and Denyse Julien lead
the players from the Pan-Americas at number 24.
