Minutes

1. All-League - team chosen
2. SCL Tournament- draws finalized
3. ISSUE: SCL tournament award in future years. Consensus was that we should have medals or trophies instead of just certificates. Since this costs $$ and the league has none available, this means that we have two options:
   1. Tax teams: each team in SCL pays into a pot ($40 is estimate) for these awards.
      Argument FOR: this is league tournament so should be paid equally across league
      Argument AGAINST: if team doesn't have any entrants why should tehy be paying for the tournament at all
   2. Tax players: each player entered pays into a pot ($5 is estimate) for the awards
      Argument FOR: entrants are the ones who benefit directly so they should be paying
      Argument AGAINST: high burden for one team if they have many/most of the entrants
   
   There was some discussion and a straw vote (4-1 for option a) but the issue was shelved, to be decided at next league meeting.
4. ISSUE: League schedule. Double-round-robin well liked, especially the early ending since it doesn't interfere with AP testing. Would like to tweak next year to not have matches right after (Mon or Tue) Easter. Would also like to end as early as possible, even if we need to have a week with three matches (T,W,Th was suggested).
