Flat-Top Racket

A superb example of an early Lawn Tennis racket with pronounced
flat-top. This gem dates to 1884 and features an inlaid cork handle.
The Collection includes other flat-top rackets, as well as a large and
diverse group of Tennis rackets from the 1880s, 1890s and early 1900s,
demonstrating the evolution of racket technology.
