This last year, she was the School of Humanities student body president and was in the California Scholarship Federation(pres), Justice Club, French Club,Thespian Club, Spanish Club and the Interact Club student advisor. She was also the Yearbook editor in chief after her four years on the staff. Rachelle has also been a part of the last three drama productions that the Piner Players have put on.
Because of her hard work at Piner, Rachelle received the honor of being Student of the Year from a student body of 1800 students, the Santa Rosa Teacher's association student of the year, Humanities math student of the year, and the Redwood Empire Tall club scholarship. Rachelle will be spend ring her summer teaching drama at the YMCA as well as counseling at the Rotary Youth Leadership camp.
Next fall, Rachelle will be attending Reed College in Portland, Oregon. Reed College is a small, liberal art institution that is know around the nation for it's academic intensity. Here, she will be studying in the math and science program with the hopes of receiving her engineering degree from Columbia University.
