The Benefits of HBA Membership

Membership of Hertfordshire Badminton Association (HBA), previously available to only those in HBA Clubs, is now open to all - non-BA of E league players, casual players and supporters. The main advantages of membership are:

For your £8.30 per year, that is 16p per week, you get:

 

  • Individual Membership Advantage Card indicating your membership of the Hertfordshire and England

Badminton Associations
  • Three Hertfordshire Badminton newsletters each year, directly to each member
  • Discounts from sports vendors and restaurants (see below)
  • Access to shuttles at reduced prices
  • One club copy of BA of E national Badminton magazine, bi-monthly
  • A BA of E handbook for every club (Current Laws of game, contacts, etc.)
  • A framework of Laws within which to play: always current and world-authoritative,
  • Access to advice and information - from BA of E and from your County Officers (listed in

newsletter). Includes club development workshops.

  • £5,000,000 worth of public liability insurance for each member (Optional Personal Accident cover

for £20 per club per unit)

  • A wide range of coaching opportunities, most are discounted for HBA members
  • A wide range of tournaments for all standards. Next, is a team tournament, Hatfield, 31st May.
  • Leagues play: ladies 4, mens and mixed
