George Washington University Badminton Camp

For those non-juniors in the Eastern and Central parts of North
America who are interested in improving their badminton playing
skills, the annual George Washington University Badminton Camp
is being held July 10-14 at George Washington University in
Washington, District of Columbia.

The coaching staff is headed by Don Paup, multiple U.S. National
champion in the late 50's and early 60's. Don is now a Ph.D. in
Kinesiology and is the Chairman of the Exercise Science department
at GWU.

Other coaches on the camp staff are Ben Lee, multiple U.S. National
doubles champion in the 80's and 90's and a Barcelona Olympian,
Dean Schoppe, a member of the U.S. national team for many years in the
80's, and Rick Thompson, a U.S. national masters champion and a
former student of the great Frank Devlin.

The camp schedule allows ample time for coaching, practice and touring
the Washington, D.C. area.
